My father Leonhard Höldrich senior founded the company with his own workshop.
From 1974-77 I learned the woodcarving in profession
From 1982-83 I made and got master craftsman examination.
In our workshop you can experience own models (about 850 different pieces) like nativities in many sizes, saint figures, madonnas, animals, crosses and other figures of all types
We like to do carvings from your ideas and our designs.
We are also working with other carvers, carpenters and
organisations from Oberammergau and the near region, like
Ammergau Alps(tourist office) or the carpenter Rochus Lang, who helps us to get the big glued pieces of wood for carving

Our older son Tobias helps,when it`s possible, he learned
carving in the Oberamergau carving school.
To satisfy the big demand during the Passion Play season we
offer woodcarvings from northern Italy, these you can get in handmade and also machine made.
We are calling attention, that my work and the work from other woodcarvers get an own trademark. That means, the carved
piece is done by himself from your design.

Bei uns können Sie unsere werkstatteigenen Modelle (ca. 850 verschiedene), z.b. Krippen in allen Größen, Heiligen Figuren, Tiere, Kreuze und profane Figuren aller Art in Handarbeit erleben.
